Registered Nurse Band – Kent based
£45,000.00–£50,000.00 per year
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Band 5 to join Almond Care, supporting adults and children with complex health needs in their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning specialist complex care provider supporting people with neurological conditions including acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, long-term ventilation and other complex neurological conditions.
You would be joining an award-winning specialist home care provider committed to helping adults and children with complex care needs live safely and independently in their own homes and communities.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to clients with complex clinical needs. Working closely with clients, their families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will assess and monitor health conditions, develop personalised care plans and provide expert clinical support tailored to each individual’s needs.
The role will involve supporting complex clinical needs at home, administering complex medications and treatments, providing tracheostomy care, monitoring patients’ conditions and ensuring that care is delivered safely, professionally and with dignity.
You will also have an important leadership role within your care team, helping to lead and develop the skills of Healthcare Assistants working with your patients.
You will need to be a qualified Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN. ICU/ITU and complex care experience is preferred, along with experience supporting people with neurological or other complex health conditions.
