This is a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic, motivated, and innovative individual with a keen interest in supporting the delivery of coronary angiography, rotablation, stenting, and cardiac implantable devices.
The Ipswich Heart Centre has 2 catheterisation laboratories and 12 recovery beds. Previous cardiac or cath lab experience is desirable but not essential. We offer training and have competencies in place to enable the successful applicant to rotate between our 12-bed recovery area and Cath labs.
A visit to the department prior to the interview is strongly encouraged, providing an opportunity to discuss the post and observe the work performed by staff.
Hours of work are currently Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 8 pm, with a requirement to provide on-call cover. Shift patterns vary to meet the demands of the PCI service, which is working towards delivering a 24/7 service.
