The opportunity Has arisen to join the friendly and established team on Glaslyn ward, care of the Elderly at Ysbyty Gwynedd.

Glaslyn is a busy 26 bedded dynamic and fast paced Care of the Elderly ward who is passionate about delivering high quality patient care.

The ability to speak welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and English speaker are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Job Responsibilities

As a band 5 on Glaslyn you're main responsibilities will include;

  • Manage a team of patient and ensure patient needs are met.
  • Maintain patients nursing documentation and records.
  • Communicate and involve patients and their relatives/carer in the planning and delivery of care.
  • Assist in leading a Multidisciplinary meeting for discharge.
  • Co-ordinate the work of healthcare support workers, assistant. practitioners and students in the delivery of nursing care.
  • -Participate in service development and ward Accreditation.
