Job summary

We are looking for highly motivated nurses who are passionate about patient care to join our well-established team in delivering a 24/7 service.

Fordham ward is a 28-bed trauma orthopaedic ward at Colchester Hospital, primarily female patients. We provide pre- and post-operative care and work closely with our therapy and ortho geriatrician teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, motivated team committed to delivering a patient-centered, clinically effective, and dynamic service.

Main duties of the job

1. Meet the trust's requirements for induction, mandatory, and statutory training.
2. Work within Clinical Governance to provide high-quality, individualized nursing care and contribute to the development of nursing practice.
3. Ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with trust policies and guidelines.
4. Work effectively as part of the nursing and multi-professional healthcare team.
