Job summary

Bupa Aylesham Court Care Home in Kirby Muxloe (Leicester) is hiring a Registered Nurse on a fixed-term 9‑month contract. You will oversee clinical duties, administer medications, and lead a care team across 48 hours per week (4x12h shifts).

The role offers enhanced clinical training and a focus on high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll work with experienced colleagues, ensure CQC standards, and support residents and their families with compassionate care.

Job Description: Registered Nurse - Fixed Term Contract (9 Months)

Bupa Aylesham Court Care Home - 195 Hinckley Rd, Kirby Muxloe, Leicester LE3 3PH

Up to £21.12 per hour, depending on experience.

Contract Available - 4x 12 Hour Days Per Week (48 Hours Contract) 8am-8pm Paid Breaks

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

As a Registered Nurse, with a valid NMC pin, you’ll be responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. This includes oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team and delivering best practice continually. You have previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard. You are confident offering clinical guidance for care teams, being crucial in helping with all CQC tasks. As a highly trusted member of the team you enjoy building connections with residents and their family, giving them the kindness and support and care they deserve. Effective communication and reporting skills are essential in order to effectively handover clinical issues to other team members and health care professionals. If working at night this will require enhanced skills to ensure patient safety as primarily you will be working alone with limited support from other healthcare professionals you will need to have strong critical thinking skills, need to be confident and self-reliant with the ability to manage care staff and remain calm in an emergency situation.
