Job Description

The Registered Nurse Emeritus is a retired or experienced nurse who enhances clinical practice through mentorship and coaching, while collaborating with an assigned nurse during direct patient care. Committed to patient- and family-centered care, the nurse employs the nursing process to recognize the individuality of each patient, addressing their physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs. The role involves developing nursing care plans with patients and their designated care partners to meet their unique needs and cultural values.

Qualifications include:

• Successful completion of a nursing program from an accredited school. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
• More than 5 years of RN experience required.
• Valid state-issued RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
