East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust in Stevenage is recruiting a Registered Nurse for Ward 10B. The post is NHS AfC Band 5 with a 30-bed Diabetes and Endocrine ward, offering opportunities to develop specialist skills within a multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver direct patient care, administer medications, monitor conditions, educate patients and families, maintain documentation, and support junior staff while upholding our Trust values of Include, Respect and Improve.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on part 1, part 2 or part 12 of the NMC register.
• Commitment to life long learning
• Ability to product updated personal professional portfolio
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• Evidence of Assessing and Mentorship qualification
• Evidence of appropriate Specialist Qualification

Responsabilités

• Delivering direct patient care to individuals with a wide range of diabetes and endocrine disorders.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions, responding to any changes promptly.
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding self-management of chronic conditions.
• Participating in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Adhering to hospital policies and protocols while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
• Mentoring and supporting junior nursing staff and student nurses.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
