Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking experienced Nurses to support a specialist detox service near Preston, Lancashire. This agency/per diem role offers ad hoc shifts with competitive pay and the chance to contribute to recovery services.

Applicants must hold a valid NMC registration (Adult or Mental Health) and have relevant experience in detox, substance misuse, mental health or related settings. Flexible, reliable team players are preferred and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration (Adult Nurse or Mental Health Nurse) is required.
• Experience in detox, substance misuse, mental health, forensic or similar settings preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care within a detox and rehabilitation setting.
• Administer and manage medications safely and in line with protocols.
• Monitor patient wellbeing and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery outcomes.
• Promote a safe, therapeutic and supportive environment for service users.

We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Nurses to support a specialist detox service based near Preston, Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for Nurses seeking flexible ad hoc work with competitive pay rates and the chance to make a real difference within substance misuse and recovery services.

Shift Patterns

• Days: 07:00 - 19:15
• Nights: 19:00 - 07:15

Pay Rates

• £26.50 per hour - Days
• £27.50 per hour - Nights
• £40.00 per hour - Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care within a detox and rehabilitation setting
