Job description

The post holder will be a Registered Nurse supporting the community nursing service in delivering high-quality healthcare. They will be responsible for providing skilled nursing interventions, ensuring a person-centred approach that is safe and effective to maintain quality standards.

You will deliver accessible, high-quality, and effective care to all age groups in the community, working in partnership with patients, care providers, and other agencies.

What you'll need to bring
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to work independently

  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Basic IT skills
  • Full UK/EU/EEA driving license

Please note: A full UK/EU/EEA driving license is required for this role.

Additional desirable qualities
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Degree level education or working towards it
  • Experience in Primary Care and community nursing
  • Experience with HIC and PICC management
  • Experience working with patients at home
  • Specialist skills such as wound management, compression bandaging, syringe drivers
  • Leadership skills and initiative
Contract details

Permanent, 29.6 hours/week

Location and hours

Based at the Houldsworth Centre; working pattern to be confirmed. Other locations may be considered for similar roles.
