Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join Barnet Grange Care Home in Barnet. You will act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager when required, and ensure high standards of care for residents.

To succeed you must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC registration, with around 2 years' experience and post-basic study. A DBS disclosure and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in care with post-basic studies.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct care activities.
• Solid knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and manage dressings and catheters.
• Oversee tube feeding and chronic condition management.
• Advise families and GP on care changes and involve them in decisions.
• Supervise staff and ensure tasks are completed while on duty.
