Job description
Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, approachable and supportive band 5 registered nurse to join our small and friendly team. Our outpatient unit is currently run over 5 days but may expand into 7 days depending on service need over time. Our working pattern is set over 4 days starting at 8 am to 6 pm with one day finishing at 5:30 pm. We are based just outside of Exeter centre on the Sowton Industrial Estate with free staff parking and the Nightingale shuttle bus (picks up at the park & ride and offers door to door drop off). The M5 J30 is minutes away. NHS Nightingale Hospital Exeter Buttercup Outpatient Department.

The registered band 5 nurse will play a vital role in supporting both patients and clinicians to ensure the smooth and safe running of clinics. The postholder will be central to delivering highly focused, patient-centred care within a well-established but continually evolving service.

Working pattern

37.5 hours per week, full time over 4 days (three days of 8:00–18:00 and one day 8:00–17:30). Interview date: Friday 24th October (subject to change).
