Registered Nurse, Bremner Court, Goathill Campus, Stornoway - 3 posts - Permanent Positions

22 hours per week - 2 posts, £22,864 to £25,250 p.a. (inclusive of £1,700 Distant Islands Allowance p.a.)

11 hours per week - 1 post, £11,432 to £12,625 p.a. (inclusive of £850 Distant Islands Allowance p.a.)

You will be responsible and accountable for the well-being of residents within the care home ensuring that their physical, emotional and social needs are met, whilst helping to achieve their full capabilities.

You will achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective guidance of colleagues.

You will ensure safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home in accordance with the policies of the company and the registering authority guidelines. You will also take management responsibility for a shift as directed.

You should have a knowledge of National Standards, professional nursing standards and NMC code of practice, and be a registered nurse with a valid pin number.

This role requires the wearing and use of PPE.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
