Job Summary

£21.75 per hour with paid breaks.

Bank Contract – 12 hour shifts on days and nights (8‑8) – Part time.

About the Role

Our nurses play a crucial role, ensuring residents receive high‑quality medical and personal care. They manage medication, monitor health conditions, and provide essential treatments. Beyond their clinical duties, nurses offer emotional support, fostering a compassionate environment that promotes residents’ well‑being. Their expertise in coordinating with other healthcare professionals ensures comprehensive and timely care, making them indispensable in maintaining the health and happiness of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the well‑being of residents, leading a team of Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure physical, emotional and social needs are met.
• Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident.
• Monitor work areas and practices throughout the day to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation.
• Deliver clinical guidance to the care team, leading, motivating and mentoring to ensure the safe and efficient day‑to‑day running of the care home.
• Promote residents’ independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
