Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for the residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident conditions, and for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team.

Qualifications
  • You must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration, with a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
