A community healthcare provider in Brackley is looking for a Registered Nurse Associate. The successful candidate will provide patient-centred care, support assessments, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council is required. This permanent full-time position offers a salary ranging from £27,485 to £30,162 annually, pro rata, with flexible working patterns including days, nights, and weekends.
The Registered Nurse Associate role is an essential role for community inpatients and the post holder will work alongside Registered Nurses and Rehab Care Assistants to provide highest quality patient-centred care.
The Registered Nurse Associate role bridges the gap between the Rehab Care Assistants and Registered Nurses. The role is professionally regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Holders of this qualification will be required to register and re-validate as per NMC registration requirements in order to practice as a Nurse Associate in England.
Within community inpatients, the Nurse Associate role is to contribute to the work of the team in providing the highest quality of physical health care and participate in on-going assessment process of health needs and the implementation of planned care in a physical health inpatient unit over the 24/7 period that meets the needs of the patients.
The post holder will be working in an integrated multi professional inpatient team that includes a Ward Matron, Team Leaders, Staff Nurses, unregistered staff, therapy MDT, medical staff and wider trust colleagues. The post holder will provide quality care for a group of patients specialising in rehabilitation in a physical health inpatient unit (and palliative care in one of the units - Danetre Hospital). We provide sub-acute care and rehabilitation for patients stepping down from acute hospitals, step-up patients from the community and admission avoidance into acute hospitals if suitable.
