Job description

Registered Nurses are employed by both the NHS and private medical centres, and are responsible for helping with the day-to-day care of patients. Registered Nurses have the following general duties regardless of which sector they work in:

  • Create and maintain a supportive and caring environment for patients
  • Respond to medical emergencies
  • Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
  • Administer and monitor patient medication
  • Deliver routine medical procedures
  • Observe patient symptoms and general condition
  • Work towards expanding knowledge through relevant training and workshops
  • Devise and monitor care plans for patients

Registered Nurses will need the following skills, qualities, and qualifications:
