Position Summary: Administers patient care in an inpatient or observation setting where an acute care patient receives active treatment for injury, illness, medical condition, or post-intervention assessment.

Provides virtual patient care via TeleHealth, assessing needs, developing care plans, and monitoring progress. Capable of conducting virtual visits, assessing symptoms, and escalating issues as needed, collaborating with in-home staff, and providing age-appropriate care.
Delivers direct care in patients' homes, assessing needs, contributing to care plans, and working autonomously. Must be able to travel within designated regions, use virtual technology for communication, and perform transportation of items and medications (excluding controlled substances and chemotherapy drugs).
Education/Training: Graduate of an approved nursing school; meets all competency requirements.
Licensure/Certification: Current Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate license; BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC as required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience: Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience required; 2 years for Hospital Care at Home.
