Day Nurse Nursing & EMI Home

Location: Liverpool GBP19.00 per hour Flexible contracts available (24, 36, or 48 hours per week)

A well regarded nursing and EMI home in Liverpool is currently seeking Day Nurses to join its dedicated care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a compassionate and person centred environment where residents' dignity, comfort, and personal choices are genuinely respected.

The home is offering flexibility to suit different lifestyles and availability, with opportunities for:

• 1 nurse at 36 hours per week
• 2 nurses at 48 hours per week

OR

• 4 nurses at 24 hours per week

About the Home:

The service provides nursing and specialist EMI care for older adults in a warm, homely setting. The team embraces a person centred approach, promoting active lifestyles, independence, and engagement with meaningful activities. Residents enjoy a rich social calendar, including music and arts, life skills, baking, gardening, pet care, and reminiscence therapy particularly effective for those living with dementia.

The home places great importance on creating a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere where every resident feels valued and supported.

The Role:

Day Nurses will be responsible for delivering high standards of nursing care and supporting residents to maintain their health, independence, and wellbeing throughout the day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering personalised nursing care in line with residents care plans
• Administering medications and managing clinical interventions
• Working collaboratively with care staff and other professionals
• Monitoring health needs and responding promptly to changes
• Promoting a safe, calm, and engaging daytime environment
• Providing emotional support to residents and their families
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
• Experience in elderly care or EMI/dementia care is an advantage
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• A compassionate, resident-first approach to care
• Commitment to maintaining dignity, respect, and choice in all care interactions
