A leading health service organization in the United Kingdom is seeking Registered Nurses for its Medicine for the Elderly speciality in Tay Ward. In this role, you will provide patient-centred rehabilitation care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be registered on the UK NMC Register and have a keen interest in elderly care. This position includes opportunities for professional development and clinical skills training.

We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our Medicine for the Elderly speciality in Tay Ward (Elderly Rehabilitation for Perth City) at Perth Royal Infirmary.
You will have the opportunity for CPD learning and would be supported to be involved in current improvement projects. There is an opportunity for clinical skills training for intravenous drug administration, venepuncture and cannulation as well as other skills.
Do you have a keen interest in elderly care and rehabilitation, and enabling patients to regain as much independence as possible? Do you want to work closely with a specialist multi disciplinary team to promote patient centred care in a supportive environment?
Tay Ward – You will be part of a Multidisciplinary Team who are committed to providing rehabilitation which is patient centred. This unit is supported by specialist MFE consultants and MFE research fellows. There is a ward rehab area, outdoor garden and patient centred focus on care delivery.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Hours of work are: 34 hours currently working a 12 hour shift pattern. Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 Months.
Current NHS Tayside Employees - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
