Job responsibilities

Role: Registered Nurse acting as person in charge when required and standing in for the Manager, ensuring high standards of care for residents and observing instructions to act on behalf of the Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition and keeping them informed and involved in care decisions.
• Deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during the shift and residents receive required care.
• Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
