Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for Potters Green in Rotherham. This full-time role is 42 hours per week on day and night shifts, paying £21.59 per hour.

You’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to adults with complex needs, supported by a strong team and excellent training and progression opportunities. As a nurse with us, you’ll be accountable for assessments, care planning, safe medication administration and leading a small unit on shift.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
• Registered Nurses from all backgrounds (Adult, Mental Health and Learning Disability) welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement care for the people we support.
• Provide person-centred and evidence-based nursing care.
• Develop collaborative, needs-based care plans through assessment and planning.

Potters Green is part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.

We support adults living with complex mental health needs, dementia, neuro-disabilities including acquired brain injuries, Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, and physical health needs. The home’s Roman Unit is exclusively for those who are assigned male at birth.

About the role

This is a highly skilled nursing role where you’ll be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills.

You’llprovide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs.Our care focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• assessing, planning and implementing care for the people we support
• providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care
• developing collaborative needs-based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• safe administration of medication
• promoting health and wellbeing
• being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift
• managing situations when people display behaviours which may challenge
