Job summary

Circle Reading Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse (Adult) to join the Inpatients team in Reading. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern and a competitive salary up to £35,500 depending on experience.

You will deliver direct nursing care, assess needs, monitor patients, administer medications, and maintain accurate records in line with NMC codes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning.
• Previous experience in a relevant specialty desirable (e.g., surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care).

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, recognise changes in condition, and elevate appropriately using clinical judgement.

• Ensure that all care provided complies with NMC standards, clinical governance requirements, and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Salary: Up to £35,500,00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in the Inpatients department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
