Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee a defined home area, coordinating day-to-day care with autonomy. You’ll lead the care team, deliver personal care to residents, and manage monthly routine medications while supervising staff during delivery.

You’ll be a named nurse for residents, developing caring plans and ensuring up-to-date records. With a focus on resident involvement and policy-aligned assessments, you’ll mentor the team and promote high standards of care

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration and current pin.
• Awareness of CQC regulations.
• Working knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations.
• Post-registration qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day running of the care area with authority to make decisions.
• Provide personal care to residents and lead the care team.
• Manage monthly routine medication and supervise administration.
• Be named nurse for residents and maintain needs assessments and care plans.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date; mentor staff and role model best practice.

Job description

As a Registered Nurse you'll be responsible for the running of a defined area of the home, with the authority and accountability to make care decisions. You'll be coordinating the day to day running of your care area, providing personal care to residents, leadership and guidance to the care team, managing monthly routine medication and supervising the care team when delivering this, responding to any and all emergency situations. You'll be a named nurse for individual residents, and have a dedicated focus on their needs assessments and personal care plans, reviewing these in line with Signature policy bi-monthly, developing a strong relationship with each resident to involve them in any decisions about their care, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. • From £23.00 per hour
• Shift Time: 07.00 - 19.30 and 19.15 - 07.15
• Full time Days and Night shifts available
