Are you a compassionate, skilled nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Willen at Home team to help us deliver exceptional support to patients with complex and changing needs.
Main duties of the job
What You'll Do
- Provide continuous assessment of patients and their carers, identifying evolving needs across a varied caseload.
- Deliver skilled nursing interventions including medication administration (via multiple routes), verification of death and assessments for care.
- Offer psychosocial support to patients and families experiencing emotional distress, providing compassionate, evidence-based guidance.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, social workers, patients, carers, and managers across organisational boundaries.
- Facilitate formal educational training sessions for carers and community RNs.
- Contribute to clinical audit and research projects to drive continuous improvement and best practice.
What You'll Need:
- Be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration and at least 6 months post-qualification experience.
- Have proven experience in managing complex patient needs in a community setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and roles.
- Have flexibility to work across day and weekend shifts.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business-use insurance (for community role).
