We now have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse to join our experienced clinical team and support the care staff in providing person-centred care for residents at Greenhill Nursing Home, working night shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Main duties include: Be responsible for supervising the care of residents, developing, implementing and regularly reviewing individual care plans.
  • Work as part of a team alongside colleagues to deliver best practice at all times.
  • Ensure a person-centred approach to care, maximising the independence, individuality and choice of individual residents.
  • Assess the needs of individual residents and identify any issues or problems, referring them to the General Practitioner or other multi-disciplinary team.
  • Promote an environment that encourages learning and continual professional development as part of enhancing clinical nursing skills.
  • Assist with the assessment of referrals both in hospital and at the home, playing an active role in welcoming new residents to their new home.
  • Maintain personal clinical development, practicing in accordance with NMC guidelines and directives.
  • Contribute to the effective leadership of staff.
