Job summary

Alderbrook Care Home, part of Willinbrook Healthcare under Care Concern Group, is seeking an Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to deliver clinically led care for adults with complex needs in a supportive environment.

You will assess, plan, administer medications, and respond to changing health needs while leading shifts and guiding the care team to ensure safe, compassionate care with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Active NMC PIN is required to practice as a nurse.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making are essential.
• Experience in complex care or mental health is beneficial.

Job description

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) Contract

• £23.80 per hour
• Contracted to 42 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs and long term conditions.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring safe, effective and person centred care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your clinical judgement to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, structured and supportive environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in complex care or mental health is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
