Job summary

Alderbrook Care Home, part of Willinbrook Healthcare under Care Concern Group, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) on a contract basis. You will provide clinically led care to adults with complex needs, and you can progress into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles within a well-led environment.

You will work days or nights, with paid DBS, pension and uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks’ annual leave on a full-time basis. Training and development support ongoing throughout your career.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills.
• Confidence leading shifts and supporting a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in complex care or mental health is beneficial, but applicants from various backgrounds are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and develop and review care plans.
• Administer medication and monitor health changes.
• Lead shifts and support the care team, making informed clinical decisions.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain safe, person-centred care.
• Collaborate with residents, families and healthcare professionals to uphold dignity and wellbeing.

Job description

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) Contract

£23.80 per hour

Contracted to 42 hours per week

Dayshift and Nightshift available

Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided

5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs and long term conditions.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring safe, effective and person centred care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your clinical judgement to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, structured and supportive environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.
