Job summary

Antonine House in Bearsden, Glasgow, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our warm, supportive team. You will lead shifts, deliver hands-on clinical care, and ensure the highest standards of person-centred care for residents living with dignity and comfort.

We value compassionate, proactive nursing and require valid NMC registration. Leadership experience is desirable, and flexibility with day shifts is appreciated as we strive to accommodate full- and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience leading a team (Desirable).
• Excellent knowledge of current clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.
• Person-centred, compassionate and motivated approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Uphold high nursing care standards and lead the shift to run smoothly while maintaining a safe, supportive environment in line with NMC codes of practice.

Set in the welcoming community of Bearsden, Glasgow, Antonine House is a modern 81-bed care home providing residential, nursing, elderly dementia, respite and palliative care in a warm and supportive environment. Our experienced team delivers compassionate, person-centred care, helping residents live with dignity, comfort and independence. Salary: £21.56per hour

Role and responsibilities

• Upholding high nursing care standards by leading the team and ensuring the shift runs smoothly by creating a safe and supporting environment in line with NMC codes of practice
• Deliver hands on clinical care, leadership and support to provide the highest standards of person-centred care ensuring our residents live their best lives
• Advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for our residents and their families
• Develop and monitor comprehensive, tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments adhering to regulatory frameworks

What we are looking for

• Valid NMC registration
• Previous experience leading a team (Desirable)
• Excellent knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices and regulatory frameworks
• Professional, compassionate and motivated - you’ll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing
• What’s just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
