Fresenius Kabi UK seeks a Registered Nurse to join our expanding enteral nursing service across Essex. The role supports patients in the community and hospital settings, collaborating with NHS colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.

Full-time, 35 hours weekly, with structured training and development pathways. The post offers a starting salary of £39,076 plus a £1,203 annual bonus, a company car or car allowance, and London Weighting dependent on postcode.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current and valid NMC registration.
• Minimum of 1 year post-registration clinical experience.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to work in a one-to-one patient environment with confidence and professionalism.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
• Excellent time management and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe discharge and ongoing care for enterally fed patients within MDT.
• Liaise with Dietitians and Nutritional teams to manage patient care in the community.
• Train patients, families and carers in enteral feeding.
• Manage a patient caseload with ongoing community support for patients and carers.
• Visit patients including care of Naso gastric/ gastrostomy tubes and pumps.
• Work in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct.

Overview

Are you a passionate and patient focused Registered Nurse, with experience or a keen interest in Enteral Nutrition?

We are looking for a registered nurse who has the ability to work autonomously within the community and hospital setting supporting our patients and working in partnership with our NHS colleagues.

Come and join our expanding enteral nursing service within Fresenius Kabi:

• This role will be full-time based across Essex and surrounding areas, working 35 hours, Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm
• The starting salary for this position is £39,076, plus an annual bonus of £1,203, a company car/car allowance andLondon Weighting allowance, dependent on postcode
• Full training and a developmental programme are available with support from our accredited nurse educators

Our nursing service offers:

Expertise in both enteral and parenteral nutrition, allowing us to support every step of a patient’s nutritional care journey.

The national team of more than 350 nurses is focused on identifying and understanding the needs of our patients to provide truly human care and support.

Responsibilities

If this is the role for you, your responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to aid the facilitation of a safe discharge and ongoing care of our enterally fed patients
• Directly liaising with Dietitians and Nutritional teams to manage the care and nutritional support of our patients within the community
• Responsible for the training of our enterally fed patients, families and carers
• Managing a patient caseload, providing ongoing support in the community for patients, carers and healthcare professionals
• Regular patient visits may include the care of Naso gastric tubes, gastrostomy tubes, pumps and advice
• Working within the NMC Code of Conduct and professional practice
