Job summary

NHS Tayside is recruiting a Respiratory Nurse Specialist to support patients with chronic respiratory conditions, including interstitial lung disease (ILD). You will work across clinics, inpatients, and patients' homes to deliver person-centred care.

This role is 36 hours per week with part-time considered for the right candidate. A First Level Registered Nurse with a UK NMC pin and experience in chronic disease management or palliative care is required, plus a driving licence.

Qualifications

  • First Level Registered Nurse with a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Post-registration experience in chronic disease management and/or palliative care.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to patients' homes across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist nursing interventions to maximise quality of life for patients.
  • Balance your week between clinics, home visits and face-to-face consultations.
  • Educate and inspire colleagues across the organisation and health & social care partnerships.

What You Bring

  • You hold a full driving licence, as reaching our patients in their homes is a vital part of the role in addition to working flexibly across both Ninewells and Perth Royal Infirmary.
