Job summary

Shaw Healthcare in Carmarthen is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Ty Cwm team. This 25-hour contract offers a salary of £22.39 per hour and regular shift times 19:00–07:30.

You'll deliver person-centred care, assess needs, manage medications, and lead the care team while promoting dignity and independence. Shaw Healthcare is the UK's largest employee-owned provider with strong wellbeing and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
• Confidence using IT systems and electronic care records.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, emotional and psychological needs.
• Develop, review and implement person-centred care plans.
• Safely administer medications in accordance with NMC standards.
• Lead and support the care team throughout each shift.
• Promote dignity, independence and choice for every resident.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues while championing best practice.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding clinical care by:
