Role overview

Join our interdisciplinary team to provide nursing and general care to residents, ensuring 24-hour health and social care in line with current legislation and Salutem’s policies.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver comprehensive health and social care.
  • Promote independence, health, and well-being while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct, maintain active NMC registration, and ensure compliance with revalidation.
  • Work across departments to implement Salutem's strategic direction.
  • Commit to customer service excellence and quality framework.
  • Maintain professional development per NMC standards.
  • Ensure safe practice with medicinal products handling.
  • Contribute to policy and strategy development.
  • Provide evidence-based care and safeguard children and adults.
  • Manage records as per organisational and NMC guidelines.
  • Support effective supervision and mentoring of staff.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure effective equipment use.
  • Facilitate communication and continuity of care.
  • Develop a culture of person-centred care and quality experiences.
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and handle feedback.
  • Provide leadership for decision-making and team collaboration.
  • Promote lifelong learning and reflective practice.
  • Support staff development and participate in performance reviews.
  • Ensure safe delegation and monitor outcomes.
  • Address care standards and manage performance issues.
  • Contribute to budget management and continuous quality improvement.
  • Attend mandatory training and stay updated on clinical practices.
  • Participate in staff recruitment and meetings.
Qualifications
