Role overview
Join our interdisciplinary team to provide nursing and general care to residents, ensuring 24-hour health and social care in line with current legislation and Salutem’s policies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to deliver comprehensive health and social care.
- Promote independence, health, and well-being while maintaining high professional standards.
- Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct, maintain active NMC registration, and ensure compliance with revalidation.
- Work across departments to implement Salutem's strategic direction.
- Commit to customer service excellence and quality framework.
- Maintain professional development per NMC standards.
- Ensure safe practice with medicinal products handling.
- Contribute to policy and strategy development.
- Provide evidence-based care and safeguard children and adults.
- Manage records as per organisational and NMC guidelines.
- Support effective supervision and mentoring of staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure effective equipment use.
- Facilitate communication and continuity of care.
- Develop a culture of person-centred care and quality experiences.
- Manage admissions, discharges, and handle feedback.
- Provide leadership for decision-making and team collaboration.
- Promote lifelong learning and reflective practice.
- Support staff development and participate in performance reviews.
- Ensure safe delegation and monitor outcomes.
- Address care standards and manage performance issues.
- Contribute to budget management and continuous quality improvement.
- Attend mandatory training and stay updated on clinical practices.
- Participate in staff recruitment and meetings.
Qualifications
- Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct, maintain active NMC registration, and ensure compliance with revalidation.
- Maintain professional development per NMC standards.
- Safe practice with medicinal products handling.
- Evidence-based care and safeguarding of children and adults.
- Record-keeping in line with organisational and NMC guidelines.
- Desirable: willingness to participate in staff recruitment and meetings.
- Safeguarding and safer recruitment process: successful candidate will complete thorough pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS and, where applicable, overseas criminal record checks.
