Job summary

Osprey Court Care Home is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN to join our clinical team. We offer day and night shifts with full-time or part-time contracts, funded PVG, pension, and uniform provision, plus 5.6 weeks' annual leave based on a full-time contract.

You will lead shifts, administer medications, assess needs, develop care plans and ensure safe, person-centred care in a well-led environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with RGN or RMN qualification and active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and leadership skills.
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial but nurses from other backgrounds are welcome to develop.

Job description

Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose built 60 bed care home located in Pitcrocknie Village, adjacent to the town of Alyth in Perth and Kinross. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can build strong relationships, develop their skills and make a meaningful difference as part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £21.50 per hour (Dayshift)
• £22.50 per hour (Nightshift)
• Full time and part time contracts available
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN

• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
