Job summary

Exemplar Health Care Group. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Laurel Place care home in Bishop Auckland. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to adults with complex needs, ensuring their holistic health is supported.

Ideal candidates will have a valid NMC registration and possess strong clinical skills. This position offers full or part-time hours, competitive pay of £23.00 per hour, and excellent benefits including supervision and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurses from all backgrounds accepted.
• Must have a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
• Experience in adult, mental health, or learning disability nursing is preferred.

About the role

This is a highly skilled nursing role where you’ll be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills.

You’ll provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs. Our care focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills.

Laurel Place supports adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Assessing, planning and providing person-centred nursing care for the people we support
• The safe administration of medication
• Promoting health and wellbeing
• Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift
• Managing situations when people display behaviours of concern
• Promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect

Qualities and skills

Qualifications
