Overview

About You

As a Registered Nurse at HC-One, you will build on your existing skill set in a nurse-led environment, developing complex decision making and collaborative skills. You will make a difference to Residents at a time when they may feel most vulnerable, guiding and supporting them in life-changing decisions. You will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months experience in Health or Social Care and a valid PIN number.
  • Understand your commitment to your profession through the standards of practice set by the NMC.
  • Have a passion to mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, and provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, both verbally and in writing, and model professional behaviours.
  • Advocate a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
