Registered Night Nurse – Specialist Dementia Unit
Location: Ashlea Court Care Home – Oaklea Dementia Care Unit
Contract: Full-Time (up to 44 hours per week)
Salary: £20.50–£21.50 per hour (depending on experience) + £1,000 welcome bonus (T&Cs apply)

Oaklea Dementia Care Unit, a newly refurbished 26-bed specialist unit within Ashlea Court Care Home, is seeking a dedicated Registered Night Nurse to join our supportive and skilled team. Part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist division of Care Concern Group, Oaklea provides person-centred, high-quality care in a calm, structured, and homely environment.

Your Role
  • As a Registered Night Nurse, you will be central to delivering both clinical excellence and holistic, person-centred care. Your responsibilities include:
  • Leading and supporting your team during night shifts, including handovers and delegation
  • Administering medications safely and maintaining accurate care documentation
  • Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing, responding promptly to changes
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to implement personalised care plans
  • Supporting independence, social engagement, and meaningful activity participation
  • Maintaining a safe, structured, and dementia-friendly environment
  • Responding effectively to emergencies and contributing to continuous improvement
About You

You are an RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN. While previous care home experience is beneficial, your passion for specialist dementia care, empathy, and ability to build trust with residents, families, and colleagues are what truly matter. You are calm under pressure, a natural communicator, and a confident leader who inspires and guides your team with warmth and professionalism.
