Registered Neonatal Nurse-Whitechapel

Pulse are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Neonatal Nurse in East London in Whitechapel.

The closest Station will be Whitechapel.

£26.00 – £39.57

What you will be doing as a Registered Neonatal nurse

  • Attending births and providing care for infants directly after birth.
  • Evaluating and overseeing the care of infants in the NICU.
  • Monitoring the health of infants suffering from medical issues relating to birth, such as prematurity or congenital defects.
  • Performing tests and obtaining and evaluating the results.
  • Providing treatment and administering medication as proscribed by the NICU physician.
  • Running and maintaining the equipment in the NICU.
  • Formulate nursing plans and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments
  • Comfort sick new-borns and anxious parents and family members
  • Offer support to parents and educate them on the at-home care of their new-born

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Valid NMC registration
  • At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Neonatal Sector
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
  • Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
  • Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
