It's an exciting time at WHH as we continue to drive forward our continuity of carer project in line with Better Births and further develop our service as WHH Maternity works towards outstanding.
We have opportunities for midwives to join our teams working across Warrington and Halton in hospital and community settings, caring for families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.
The maternity team at Warrington is friendly, welcoming, and passionate about positive change.
In 2021, our team was shortlisted for an HSJ Patient Safety Award and was nominated for the regional Nursing and Midwifery Award at the 2022 NHS Parliamentary Awards. In 2024, CQC rated our Maternity Services as "Good". Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust values training and development, which will be offered based on the successful candidate's needs and career aspirations.
