Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking midwives to join the NHS bank network. The role focuses on providing essential care and support to expectant mothers and families across pregnancy, labour, and postnatal care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years
• Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
• Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills

• Assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers
• Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care
• Providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations and screening
• Identifying high-risk pregnancies
• The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
