Job description

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health (RMN) / Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a passion for delivering the best quality of care.

You will be expected to work 38.5 hours per week (shift times: 8:00am to 8:15pm; 8:00pm to 8:15am) at Cygnet Hospital Woking.

Your day-to-day…

1. Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments & observations
2. Work closely with the management team to develop, audit, & improve service quality
3. Attend training and engage in CPD to enhance knowledge & promote nursing standards
4. Ensure care plans are complete & maintained collaboratively with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals, following NMC guidelines
5. Administer medicines according to healthcare procedures & guidelines

An experienced RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number, you’ll have:

Essential:

• The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity in your role
• A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
• A commitment to patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk
• Compassion, resilience, & dedication to empower & support service user independence

Desirable:

• The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role
• An interest in leadership, research, & assessment
