About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our multidisciplinary team at [Insert Facility or Hospital Name]. You will play a vital role in providing compassionate, recovery-focused care to individuals with a range of complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

2. Administer medication safely and monitor its effects
3. Conduct risk assessments, mental state examinations, and care reviews
4. Support patients through crises using de-escalation and therapeutic communication techniques
5. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
6. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
7. Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act, safeguarding protocols, and NMC standards
8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Requirements

1. Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
2. A degree/diploma in Mental Health Nursing
3. Experience in mental health settings such as acute, forensic, rehabilitation, CAMHS, or community (preferred but not essential)
4. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviours
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
6. A genuine passion for improving mental health outcomes
