Overview

Registered Manager - Supported Living Manager, Birmingham. Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health. Location Birmingham, easily commutable from surrounding areas including Walsall. Good salary package on offer with an additional bonus and benefits.

My client is a reputable, award winning care provider looking for an experienced manager to oversee a flagship Supported Living Service for adults with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • You will oversee a flagship Supported Living Service for adults with learning disabilities in a modern apartment complex with high-spec individual facilities and communal areas for group activities and events.
  • Ensure care quality is absolutely at the forefront of how the service is managed.
  • Build and lead a team, mentoring individuals and inspiring staff by creating a culture where ideas are encouraged, effort is recognised and opportunities for personal development and progression are available.
  • Manage quality and compliance and maintain a genuinely person-centred care ethos.
  • Work autonomously with ownership and decision-making responsibility, while receiving support from a passionate senior management team and regional support.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of managing quality and compliance within supported living or similar care settings.
  • Passion for providing genuinely person-centred care.
  • Ability to inspire and develop team members and create a positive, progressive culture.
  • Experience working with Learning Disabilities, Autism or Mental Health settings is implied by the role.
