Job summary

A domiciliary care provider in Peterborough is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the establishment of a new homecare and supported living service. Qualifications

Are you an experienced leader ready to shape and develop a brand-new homecare and supported living service?

I’m working with a well-established domiciliary care provider that is expanding its operations with the launch of their third service in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven Registered Manager to take the lead in building and growing a high-quality care service from the ground up.

What’s on offer:

  • 36 days annual leave (28 days + bank holidays).
  • Quarterly KPI targets.
  • Emergency on call only.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:

  • To have overall responsibility for the development of the service, reporting to the Directors.
  • To continually work on marketing the service in the community and on social media.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with the clients and their families.
  • To manage clients’ care packages and ensure high standards for their ongoing care.
  • To manage the development, recruitment, and retention of all care staff.
  • To have a working understanding of the Care Act and CQC’s Essential Standards.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with commissioning bodies such as Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council, CHC, etc.

Registered Manager Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Registered Manager in Domiciliary Care/Live-In Care/Supported Living.
  • Must be working toward/achieved an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
  • Must have a UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle.
