Job summary

Sterling Cross Ltd in Kent is recruiting an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for a children’s home in Chatham. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure Ofsted compliance, develop your team, and maintain high standards of care to deliver positive outcomes for young people.

The role requires a proven track record of Good or Outstanding inspections, strong budget management, and a passion for trauma-informed, child-centred care within a values-led organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager within a children’s residential service.
• Proven track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection outcomes.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it.
• Confident in managing budgets, compliance and quality assurance processes.
• Right to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

A growing, values-led children's residential care provider in Chatham, Kent is looking for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead one of their homes.

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring Ofsted compliance, leading and developing your team, and maintaining high standards of care while achieving positive outcomes for young people.

We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections, strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for child-centred care.
