Job summary

Care First UK Recruitment Solutions in Leiston is seeking a Registered Manager to take full ownership of a children’s home, delivering high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team of around 15 staff, maintain Ofsted-aligned practices, build relationships with local authorities, and drive positive outcomes for young people through strong leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s home.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience managing staff teams.

We are currently recruiting for a strong, confident Registered Manager to lead our clients well-established children s residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Salary: £45,000 £62,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the home. You ll lead a team of approximately 15 staff, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding are consistently delivered.

You will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, and continuously improving the service.
