Job summary

Rota Support is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for a long-established independent family-run care home near Sudbury, Suffolk. The home offers nursing and residential care for 25–40 residents, with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team and a strong emphasis on high-quality, compassionate care.

The Registered Manager will lead clinical care delivery, ensure compliance with CQC and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Leadership in Health & Social Care certification is essential.
• A valid NMC registration (RGN) is required.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks for clinical governance and compliance.
• Proven experience managing nursing care services.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Possess a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to deliver outstanding nursing care.
• Ensure full compliance with CQC and regulatory requirements.
• Drive ongoing quality, governance and continuous improvement.
• Support and develop a multi-disciplinary team to achieve excellence.
• Oversee clinical standards across the Home.
• Manage occupancy and staffing levels.
• Maintain strong relationships with resident families and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure clear, proactive communication and resident safety.
