Job description

Registered Manager Children s Residential Home
Location: Walthamstow
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time Permanent

We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead our children s home with care, integrity and a commitment to excellence.

Please note: it is essential that you have experience working in an Ofsted-regulated children s home, ideally in a management or senior leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Lead, support and develop a team of residential care professionals.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care planning and risk management.
  • Foster strong relationships with local authorities, partner agencies and families.
  • Ensure the home achieves and maintains high inspection ratings, working towards 'Outstanding' outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in an Ofsted-regulated children s residential home is essential.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Strong understanding of children s residential care legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and develop staff teams.
  • A child-centred approach with a genuine desire to improve the lives of young people.
