Job description

I am actively recruiting a Registered Manager on behalf of my client for their 2 Bed EBD Children's Home based in Stoke - On - Trent. This role requires the successful applicant to hold a Level 5 in management and have at least 2 years current or previous experience within a similar role.

The Registered Manager is responsible for leading the Ofsted regulated service, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. In keeping with the company ethos, the Registered Manager will be focused on quality, excellent service delivery, Business Development & the drive for commercial success.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Demonstrate passion & commitment to excellent support & quality.
  2. Ensure compliance with Ofsted Regulations.
  3. Ensure best outcomes for each young person is achieved.
  4. Demonstrate & evidence quality & assurance including best practice.
  5. Provide leadership & coaching in childcare practice within the home.
  6. Demonstrate strong & effective leadership at all times.
  7. Inspire, motivate & build a highly skilled workforce.
  8. Provide feedback to the Directors.
  9. Positively promote & market the service.
  10. Contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
  11. Lead a culture of continuous improvement & development.
  12. Have a solid understanding of all children's regulations.

The successful applicant will need to be able to meet the requirements of regulation 28 of the Children's Home (England) Regulations 2015.
