Overview

Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home

Location: Sale, Greater Manchester

Type: Full-Time, Permanent | 37.5 hours per week minimum

We are working with a therapeutic children's home provider seeking a highly capable Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed residential home in Sale. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and outcomes for children aged 7-17.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a 3-bed residential home, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding for children aged 7-17.
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and child protection requirements.
  • Oversee budgets, staffing, and care planning; develop and implement service improvements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior or management role in residential childcare
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Services (minimum)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (desirable, or willingness to work towards)
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Child Protection, and Ofsted regulations
  • Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and care planning
  • Full UK Driving Licence
