Location: Brighton & Hove (BN3)

Salary: £39,000 - £43,500 per annum (slight flexibility for exceptional candidates)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced care manager ready to take the reins of a growing domiciliary care service? Quality Care Recruit are proud to represent a wonderful homecare provider who are seeking a passionate and people-first Registered Manager to lead their Brighton branch through its next phase of sustainable growth and quality assurance.

About The Role

As our Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead the operational delivery of home care services from our Brighton office (currently based in Portslade)
  • Manage and mentor your in-house Care Coordinator and Field Care Supervisor, ensuring a happy and motivated team
  • Maintain and enhance regulatory compliance and CQC standards (this branch has improved significantly — and must not regress)
  • Champion staff wellbeing, development, and retention
  • Deliver and grow high-quality services with a private-pay and contract client base
  • Drive measured growth in line with group strategy (target: 10% per year — not aggressive expansion)
  • Represent the branch externally, building relationships with partners, stakeholders, and potential clients

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience managing domiciliary care services (Registered Manager preferred; strong Deputy Managers with strategic mindset will be considered)
  • Proven track record of improving or maintaining CQC compliance
  • Comfortable managing a 400-hour-per-week branch and building steady growth
  • Sales and business development skills (private-pay client acquisition, LA frameworks, etc.)
  • Able to balance people leadership with commercial awareness
  • Someone who leads with empathy, listens well, and builds team culture
  • Must be based locally in East or West Sussex and able to drive
  • Familiar with contract frameworks, tenders, and compliance reporting
